The program has never be the same since Pete Cacciatore left.

Pete was about the 7th best player on his team...need we go over this agian. He should have stuck with track and field

Led team in Assist in 2002

2004: First team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference

Tied for fifth all-time in SIUE history with 21 assists

Good player...but not as good as you continue to talk him up as...

Not bad for what you say the 7th best player on his team

the question you have to ask yourself is: how does SIUE return to the level of Creighton (or Bradley)? how does SLU return to the level of Xavier or Charlotte? First, in Creighton's case they have become a place for players with pro ambitions to thrive. Second, they are respected nationally. Third, I can't remember the third, oops

This is a great point...and one of the main reasons SIUe pushed so hard to get in the MVC. Obviously, Creighton has been good for sometime now, and that didn't happen overnight. Reaching Creighton's success might be reaching a bit, but this program can be a top 25 program again. I like your Rick Perry imitiation as well... This board reminds me of a political debate ....a lot of bad-mouthing and no substance.

SLU can, and I believe will, get back on top of the A-10 once MM gets order restored there. He defenitly is bringing his players in and that will obviously take time to mature. The more I saw of him, the more I am impressed...he didn't budge with his style of play....rather direct, but they have the personel to play direct with kristo...This next recruiting class is crucial for him.

Rumor has it Bilyeu decommited. Any truth to that?

I heard the same thing about Bilyeu having second thoughts about SIUE. I hear they are losing kids off their team roster from last fall too. Not sure whats going on their.

Im sure Mr SIUE "POSH" would know or maybe he does not want to talk about it

According to KK...players love playing for him at SIU and SLSG. I guess he is finding out the truth about that now. Maybe these players wouldn't be leaving the program if he treated them better. I'm sure the players are also tired of the 6:30 AM workouts, too.

Kids transfer out of every program...most of the ones transfering were upset about playing time. What does 6:30 am workouts have anything to do with it....you telling mr pampered 18-19 years are upset about this? What a shock.

I know Clarkin is transfering to Drury...he didn't play at all. Have to wait and see who else is transfering out.

Really don't understand the KK haters...I would presume most of it is jealousy, but who knows.

6:30 am workouts are nothing compared to what the players at Missouri State have had to do.

I could care less...I would imagine he changed his mind. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Who did he re-commit with? Haven't seen it posted anywhere. I'm dying to hear that.

What's hilarious is that I simply post a positive article about the program and Matt polster, and a few people take cheap shots at the program and Kalish. Really sad how mean and classless some people are.

Teams lose 3-4 players every year, 2 players are leaving Crieghton and North Carolina. The problem with the players leaving SIUE are they are going to play D2 because that is where they should have been to start with. SIUE has10-12. D2 players on there roster because they are a D2 program and always will be. Bilyeu and Clarkin are D2 players. The only player they have so far is Cherry from O'Fallon, il and I am not sure he is a D2 player.
I know Posh doesn't like to here it but SIUE has NO business being in D1 every sport is getting the crap beat out of them, the whole picture is more important than soccer

You are entitled to your opinions. But do you know the revenue stream coming into SIUE since they went DI ? Their athletic department revenue has doubled. The school is the fastest growing school in the state (which is bankrupt). And it's in better shape then it has ever bee. So you are indirectly right, the whole picture is much bigger than soccer or any athletic team. And you are wrong...players leave EVERY program for MULTIPLE reasons. Playing time, girlfriends, home sick, ability, etc. Why did Devon Newport leave SLU to come to SIUE. Why did Speiss leave UIC to come to SIUE ? It happens at every program and you know it.

You continue to prove yourself to be ignorant and foolish. The best thing that program did was fast-track to DI and enter the MVC. They were 1 PK away from WINNING THE MVC in 2010. Please explain how that shows they have "No Bussiness" being in DI ?? They proved they belong, and they will continue to inprove.
