Trivia Night Fundraiser for the Tony Glavin U 12 girls.

Wentzville UAW Hall 1395 E. Pearce Blvd.

Friday February 26th. Doors open at 6:30 pm, Trivia starts at 7pm
Cost is 20.00 per person / 160.00 per table. and includes cash prizes for top two teams, prize for best decorated table, draught beer and soda provided (drinks CAN be brought in), snacks, silent auction, raffles and game.

If interested, please pm or call me and I will give you the information on where to send payment to reserve your table. It will be a fun night.

Seems like a lot of teams in this age group are short on players (including some very competitive teams). Are there too many teams, tough transition year to 11v11, injuries, a combination thereof or something else?

Cut-off for the Avalon FC Annual Mother’s Day Tourney is April 15th. We are on strict timetable with Gotsoccer & the referee assignor so we will NOT be extending the deadline.

We currently have 140+ teams registered with a great mix of out-of-towners but could use 2 U/12 Girls teams to make even brackets.

I wanted to give congrats to SLSG Man United. They beat WC United 1-0 in the second OT today at the Avalon tourney today. It was a great game.

Congrats to the JB Marine Williams U-13 for a runner up finish in the "A" flight of the Midwest All Girls tourney in Overland Park losing a heartbreaker in PK's. Girls played great all weekend against some good regional competition.

We are looking for 2 to 4 additional U-13 or U14 girl teams to round out a winter futsal league. The games will be played in January and February at Ursuline Academy High School on Saturday mornings or early afternoons. The cost of the league is $25 per player/$200 for a team of eight.

This informal league will consist of several U-13 SLSG teams and we are looking for other club teams to ensure that we have 12-16 eight player teams.
