Does anyone know who Marco Cherisma is? He scored 5 goals in Drury's last game and I read that he went to East Central. I haven't gotten a chance to see him play. Is he as good as it sounds? Anyone see him play at East Central? Where is he from?

Delray Beach FL is where he played his HS soccer according to the Drury website. I haven't had a chance to talk to him in-depth yet but plan to this weekend when SIU-E comes to town. His teammates have been very high on him from the very beginning of practice this year.

I think he was originally born in Haiti. I could be wrong about the country, but I'm pretty certain he was originally born somewhere in the Caribbean and then moved to Florida before he went into high school.

Cherisma is the real deal. I think he should have been a first team all-conference selection but he was probably screwed by the team's conference record.

Congratulatons to the DU men!
GLVC regular season champs, rated #3 nationally and #1 in the midwest by NSCAA.
Today they're GLVC tournament champs too and bound for the NCAA-II tourney next weekend.
While they aren't exactly a "local" team for all of us here in STL, they are an exciting team to watch, and the roster has some local faces.
Go Panthers!
