BU10 - Need 1 for 10 teams
BU12 11v11 - Need 1 for 6 teams
BU13 - Need 1 for 6 teams

GU9 - Need 1 for 5
GU10 - Need 1 for 5
GU13 - Don't need a team, but would accept one more

We are ahead of last years record breaking pace with several clubs bringing large numbers from CRSA (IA), Elite Girls Academy (NE), Chicago Inter and Tri Cities (IL), Sporting Blue Valley and KC Select (KS), SLSG, Tony Glavin and Lou Fusz locally. It looks to be a great line-up of teams for this years event.

I don't need a team in the following age groups, but I could use one to help with some bracketing issues.

Ugh, looks like a lot of rain this weekend for the area and even with turf you might need a canoe to get to the fields. Hopefully they are wrong with the rain like they are when they predict snow. Mitch and crew will have a lot of work ahead of them this weekend.

Yeah, bummer for Mitch and especially the out of town teams. If it helps our farmers though, it will be worth it. I'm no agricultural hydrologist, so I don't know what the effect of getting a whole lot of rain at one time will be on the crops. I hope it helps, and I hope it's not too late.

What to do? Cancel it on Friday and it may rain lightly but all day. Do not cancel and it pours with flooding etc. I do not envy those making that call. Good Luck.

Not an easy decision to make but probably the right one. Atleast the out-of-town teams won't have to pay all of that extra money for travel.
