Mary McDermott loved the competition of sports and the camaraderie of being part of a team. A courageous, gentle fighter, Mary always gave 110% in every game – she had mastered the art of being competitive while always showing her kind spirit both to fellow teammates and opponents. Mary was constantly practicing – both trying to improve her skills and simply because she loved being active – and always knew how her favorite teams were doing. With a special fondness for Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, who gave Mary her start in the game of life, Mary would be excited that the proceeds from this game will go to help other children at Cardinal Glennon “get in the game.â€
